alamanda 'schotti'

Bush Allamanda

(allamanda schottii) Bush allamanda is a free blooming tropical shrub with an open, casual habit. It does well in full sun or partial shade and reached a mature height of 3 to 4ft. It prefers rich, well drained soil.

Copperleaf

Copperleaf

A spreading, evergreen shrub that makes a colorful additon to foundation border, or, as a specimen plant. It grows quickly and if not trimmed, will reach a height of 10 ft with an equal spread. It does well in full sun or partial shade, but should be protected from strong winds. It prefers rich, moist, fast draining soil.

Croton 'Banana'

Croton 'Banana'

(Codiaeum variegatum v.'Banana')This cultivar has thin, yellow and green leaves, and an upright habit. It will normally reach a height between 3 to 8 feet. It looks best in full sun but if it's location is especially hot, some light shade is appreciated. It prefers moist, rich soil but once established is drought tolerant.

Croton 'King of Siam'

(Codiaeum variegatum v.'King of Siam') This croton prefers partial shade but will tolerate full sun. It has curly, narrow leaves and is varigated with splotches of yellow, green, and white. Once established it is drought tolerant.

Croton 'Magnificent'

(Codiaeum variegatum v.'Magnificient')This is an uncommon cultivar and it totally lives up to its name. It's large leaves are marked by many colors, and like other crotons looks best in full sun with some shading during the hottest part of the day.

Croton 'Petra'

(Codiaeum variegatum v.'Petra')This croton is a real show stopper, especially when planted in full sun, which it handles well. Like all crotons it tolerates adverse conditions, including periods of drought. It is not tolerant of wet conditions.

Ixora

Ixora

(Ixora cuccinea) Also known as flame of the wood, and jungle geranium. Flowers are produced almost year round on this dense shrub. Although it tolerates hard pruning it looks best when it is not sheared. It prefers full sun but will tolerate partial shade. We carry 'Nora Grant'(deep rose pink), 'Dwarf yellow', 'Maui Red' and 'Florida Sunset'.

jatropha

Jatropha

(Jatropha integerrima) also known as peregrine, or spicy jatropha, and is a beautiful flowering shrub and a wonderful addition to a mixed shrub border. It takes pruning well and makes a good container subject. It is drought tolerant, does well in poor soils and thrives in full sun or partial shade.

Philodendron Xanadu

Philodendron xanadu

(Philodendron spp.)This is a wonderful carefree understory plant and looks best when planted in groups. It does best in light shade and reaches a height of 3 feet with a spread of 5 feet. Regular applications of fertilizer will maintain the deep green color. Irrigate regularly.

Pumbago auriculata

(Pumbago auriculata) A low growing shrub that is often used as an underplanting or in front of more upright shrubs. It forms rounded mounds 3' to 10 ft in height adn spread. the blue flower clusters are present year round. It does best in full sun put will tolerate partial, and prefers light sandy soils with good drainage.

Tibouchina is also known as glory bush.

Tibouchina

(tibouchina lepidota), also know as glory bush produces a non-stop display of purple flowers. It makes a great container plant. It prefers full sun and moist, rich soil but can withstand short periods of drought. Freezing temperatures will kill it back but it will recover. It does require pruning.

White bird of paradise

White bird of Paradise

(strelitzia Nicolai)is a striking tropical plant with banana like leaves that sprout from the trunk and white flowers. It can reach a height of 20 ft. Like its cousin, it prefers rich most soil and good drainage, and full sun or partial shade.
